say what?
Most of Fan Chung's theories and developments are quite technical. So before your nose bleeds, here are some simplified explanations of the technical words used in this site.
Ramsey theory
This theory was named after Frank P. Ramsey, however this was further developed by Erdős, and was very much improved by Fan Chung. This is a mathematical study about the certain conditions and degree of order that must occur as the scale of an object becomes larger.
Combinatorics
In this branch of mathematics, the enumerated, combined and permuted sets of elements and other mathematical relations are studied. This is also a larger subset of discrete mathematics that includes the graph theory.
Spectral graph theory
It is a study of the properties of a graph and its relationship to different kinds of complicated matrices such as the adjacency matrix and the Laplacian matrix.
